Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 820
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

I just realized that you posted the Ramada Meet and Greet. I'm going to Sarge's meet and greet. It is a different meet and greet. He is really informative. I believe it was part of the info that Lemonelephant posted. I need to RSB

I just realized that you posted that you are going to the Ramada's meet and greet. I'm planning on going to Sarge's. It is at the Sundance Saloon. I am behind on making reservations. I will do that today~

I am not completely sure... I was hoping to get my son's input! I I guess I will have to take a step of faith and choose! I like Jaxietwo's idea... I just don't want to deal with checkout by noon on Friday and wait to 3:00 to check in at the new location!

I have our hotel reservations at SpringHill by Marriott at Fountain Square Pl, Waukegan. I'm not sure how far it is from the graduation. My Husband made the plans. I would really like to Sarge's Meet and Greet. Don't know much about it

Hey mamas! So i am hoping our kiddos in 820 get their privileges back by the weekend to call... I am praying and will be by my phone night and day just in case. I am hoping my son is a team player,it would be SO unlike him to be. The only thing I could see, is he can be oblivious sometimes to others needs, not intentionally but more not realizing.. This worries me.. I pray he is doing everything asked of him!!
In regards to graduation, we are staying at the Ramada Inn thur-Sun. So, definatley look us up and we can celebrate in our kids:) Im glad the meet and greet is there on Friday:) should be nice connecting with other parents who have gone through everything you have. Cheers to you all and look forward to seeing you all!

Hi Fitness, our boys must have been seperated at birth - I was thinking the exact same thing! As the youngest he has always had someone else looking out for him - yikes! I WILL stalk my mailman today for my letter !! : )

LOL!Good to hear there are others like him:) He is so focused and I pray everyday he is learning what he needs to so he can move onto the next step. Where are you staying for Grad? And YES I will be stalking my mailbox as well!!!!

fitness: The MeetandGreets are held the night before PIR. These are for all families and friends of the graduating sailors (the sailors will not be there.... :-( There is one at Ramada and Sarge's at the Sundance Saloon. Sarge's is the larger more popular one and the one with the most info. It is about 4 miles from RTC.

Carolyn: That is a good hotel...we have had positive posts on Springhill and the best part is you are right there by Sarge's MeetandGreet! You are about 4-5 miles from RTC. We stayed right up the road at the Residence Inn...we took a shuttle to PIR and were there in about 10 minutes.
You will like Sarge's MeetandGreet! Lots of info there....he also has a shuttle service himself.

I'm staying at the Navy Lodge on Thursday night and then moving over to the Springhill Suites for Friday night - was going to stay at the Ramada but checked the reviews and switched. It's killing me that I can't get home to check the mailbox till 5!!!
