Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 395 and 396

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I'm Wyatt's Mom. He is in 396. We are also staying at the Navy Lodge and I signed us up for Sarge's Meet & Greet. I can't wait to see my son again. Who knew I'd miss him this much....

Hello everyone,  my son is Div. 396

Good morning!!!! My daughter is also in Div 395. Hoping to get a call this weekend.

Hi my name is Julie and my daughter Kayla is in Division 396.. I already booked my hotel through NAVY LODGE. Still waiting for a letter or a phone call. I am really looking forward to her graduation on 10/18.

Hi Julie, my son is in the same division. His name is Tyler. We received our first letter from him today. He wrote it on 21August 2013, and it just went out on the 3rd...lol we also booked our hotel at the Navy Lodge. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and most of all to see my son!

Hi Julie and Tyler's Mom, My name is Tracie I'm Wyatt's Mom. He is Div 396 also. We received our 1st letter yesterday the 6th. We also booked our rooms at Navy Lodge. I am hoping they get to call today or tomorrow. I'm keeping the phone in my hand..lol  Glad to meet you both...

Division 396...what day did your son/daughter arrive at GL?  My son arrived evening of 8/20.  So far I've received "the box", form letter and initial I'm here call.  I noticed a Recruit Training Website on FB which has a contest called Trivia Tuesday, if you’re the first one to guess correctly you can request a picture of your recruits division be posted on the website.  For those of you that have time to participate in the contest, it would be a great way to see a picture of our loved ones.  I plan to participate…just an idea to hopefully get a peek at their Division.

I tried to answer the trivia question. I found the answer and went to submit it and the other mother had just gotten it. I was so disappointed. Next Tuesday I am trying again. Good Luck!! I hope one of us in 396 makes it. I would love to see my son....

Can't wait for tomorrow!!  I'm hoping our Divisions will call in the morning.. Just one more day... Yeaaaa

Do you know what time of day they usually post the trivia question?  Maybe with several of us trying we might get lucky and win.  I'd love to see a picture of 396.  Yep, I hope calls go out tomorrow.  If I get a call this weekend I'll let everyone know.

Got a letter today.  Said it was hard but he sounded very positive and upbeat.  What a wonderful day it has been!

Phone Call today.  Yeah.  Any Moms from Boise Idaho?  Passed all PT and swimming test.  Moving up a grade.  He also said food was good.  Sounded good.  So glad he is happy.  Relief.
