Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 385 and 386

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Div 386! NC! 4 more weeks!!!!!!!!!

Div 385 also! Can't wait until I get to see my son either!
I'm also one that Has her phone on her at times. And I feel the same u do!
My son is also in div 385!
I got one phone call from him!
And he said his div might get held
Back a week!
I hope this is not true! I'm so upset I can't talk to him more often I can't think about anything other then If this div made it thru their testing!

My son is in DIV 385 and when he called Sunday he did not say anything about being held back.  Has anyone else heard this?  My son said they may get a 5 minute call this Wednesday (tomorrow)!!

I keep hearing that the whole division may be held back because they were in P days too long. Something like that. I pray they will be able to catch up. Maybe they were promised a call tomorrow if they passed their test today. That would be great. My son called his dad on Sunday so i didn't get much of an update this time around.

Our son is in div 385-we have gotten two calls from him. One the Saturday before Labor Day it was a really quick call probably not much longer than 2-5 min. Then last Sunday 8 Sept we got a 15-20  min phone call from him. He was talking really fast because he was worried about time running out-he was hard to understand everything because he told us he had just gotten out of the infirmary due to having 3 of his wisdom teeth removed. He said something about there was a possibility of the division being held back but said it wasn't definite that it would depend on what happened over the next couple of weeks. Our son didn't say anything about getting to call anymore!  It is really hard to piece together everything-it is nice we have this blog to connect but sometimes it makes it even more frustrating trying to figure out what is going on. I have resided to stick to the no news is good news theory! We have been writing lots of letters to encourage him and have been having others do the same.

If son needs to see doctor will he have to be pushed back and not graduate Oct.11??? he is in DIV 386

Not necessarily cakewoman. There are lots of reasons for a Drs visit and it does not mean asmo'd. My son had pneumonia while in BC and three visits to the DR, he still made his PIR on time.

My son called again!!!! Div 386 ship 13

I missed 4 calls from my son today and I feel sick!  I was teaching and in meetings so had it on vibrate and only felt it when the voice mail came in.  At least I can hear him tell me he was going to try his dad and try me back but neither of us picked up the call.  I am SO SAD.  Has anyone from DIV 385 got a call and heard anything about their graduation being delayed a week?

I am so sorry that happened to you and your family-I almost missed our call today-I was on a phone call when his call came in and the phone wouldn't switch over-but he called right back and we did get to talk. He didn't say anything really about the division-instead this time he shared his own struggles and successes with me. It is a real emotional roller coaster for me on the outside so I can only imagine how it is for him. One min it sounds like things are going fine then the next min I am not so sure. He asked me to send more phone cards and keep those letters coming they really help the days go by. If I hear anything else I will let everyone know. Again I am so sorry you all missed the call-I know that must be hard.
