Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 373 and 374
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

They're just about halfway through!! Today is four weeks since my SR arrived at Great Lakes, and Friday is four weeks until PIR. Can you believe it?!?!
Anyone from Texas? My son Andrew said he's made a few friends from Texas?
Not me. I'm in Vegas.
My son is on the same ship as your hubby. Maybe they know each other. He is from Katy, Tx.
Hello, My3Sons! I'm glad your SR is having a good experience. Mine seems to be really enjoying it too. HIs letter this week said he's made better friends in boot than he did through all 4 years of high school. PIR is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. It just overwhelms your heart!
Mine is headed to Pensacola for A school. You might be able to connect with more people with Meridian-bound sailors on the PIR Facebook page.
My SR is headed to Meridian too:)
We are less than two weeks from the big day. Is anyone else excited? Haha. We will be staying at the Navy Lodge. Is anyone else staying there? If so, how do you plan to get onto the base? Car, shuttle, taxi or walk? Even though the Navy Lodge right across from the base I don't think walking is a great option if we have to enter from the main gate. Has anyone made plans on what to do during liberty? We are leaving it up to Joe but if he is at a loss, I'm open to idea's.
Also, for you Div 374 moms that may not know; in our last letter from Joseph he said the Division was doing well and that they had earned all their flags so far. The last one will be earned after the final PFA so hopefully they do well on that and get them all!
Hang in there mom's you're almost there. (Btw, this isn't Joseph's Mom, but it is his Dad)
and I believe the final PFA was today!
Staying at Hampton Inn in Libertyville, leaving liberty plans up to my son, bringing his bathing suit incase he wants to relax in the whirlpool, I know he will want a good solid meal
so excited, can't wait
