Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 007 and 008

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Unfortunately, today's question was answered within 9 minutes of the posting and that was done at 9:00 Ca time.  So we have to be quick.

I should've read this first! Ok, I am on it for next Tuesday, 7 am my time Facebook, added to my calendar!

I'm counting on you all. :)  Unfortunately I have to work.  It would be great to see a photo.

Perfect, maybe one of us can google fast enough to get the right answer in :)
I don't have to work next week since it's my fall break (am a teacher), and don't usually have to leave for work till 8 am, so I will make this my mission for the 7 and 8 divisions every week. We will see a picture of them!

Azerin, that would be awesome. Thank you for trying and good luck next week! Will pray that you get the answers right and posted the quickest. God bless.

I will make my daughter help...she's wicked fast on research and actually wrote her bro a letter today. I'm hoping she didn't tell him what happened on the last episode of Breaking Bad...that's his favorite show and he was mad that he wouldn't see the end of it.

I know I have been trying to find other things to write about other than the shows we had watched together so it dosent seem like he is missing anything.  I even went as far as telling him about a soap that I watch every so often just to write boring things.

That would be wonderful, you will be better than I was Tuesday, that was tough, I tried to google it but it took we awhile to get the answer and when I did they already had a winner.

Hi Everyone!  I received a letter today from my son.  It was short, but it was good to see his writing.   He was happy to hear our voices and talk to all of us.  He asked for more letters from everyone.  I have been writing everyday.  He wrote on 9.29 and he has day 11 on the letter.

So to add something a little different to our discussions.  How many of you have a pet to care for that your SR had prior to boot camp?  I am caring for a juvenile bearded lizard.  I took this photo to send to my SR so he can see how big he is. He is still growing.  His name is Tank.

We have our son's dog Sierra, he has had her for 15 years, the first few days were the hardest, she was pacing the house and sleeping in my son's bed.  I think she is doing a bit better.  We are in California so may not get mail until Sat?  I check every day, for a letter & I too send him a letter every day.

Where are you in CA?
