Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 427 and 428
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

If PIR date is listed on this website is that the actual date since I haven't officially heard from my SR? He mailed out the official paperwork without his grad date listed. Is it ok to make travel arrangements?
Has any one got a real letter from there SR in this Div.427? My SR is saying they are holding there mail but there getting letters from home. Can't believe in 40 days I will get to see her. Proud momma right here:)
My son is on Shop 09 Div 427. We received a call yesterday. Made my day. I received a call also last Saturday also. He was promoted to leadership. We are so proud. He said they could not start sending letters until today. So hopefully we start getting them soon.

I look forward to having that same inthusiasm when I get my first letter from my SR!! :) SO happy for your letter!!!!
I also got my first letter today. My son is in Division 428. He said it's like bad summer camp where you don't get much sleep and you do PT, IT and get yelled at all the time! It was actually a pretty positive letter - said the food is good and it is pretty easy, but not sure what the tests will be like. We are all looking forward to November 8th!!
I also got my first letter last night! What a smile I had on....ear to ear!! Funny, he only wrote about his Chapel experience. He could have written about anything he's been experiencing during these past few weeks but he didn't. Spiritually he's loving it! lol.....We will have to keep in touch. My son is also ship 9 div 428.Totally can't wait for Noember 8th!!!! Tickets and hotel set!!!
