Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 901

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello, so happy to have received my first letter and then my SR called today! Sounds like she had had a rough day but it was so good to hear her voice.
Very excited to see her at PIR. Have our room at quality inn and airline ticket booked. Are most of you getting. Rental car? And going to Sarge's meet and greet? Any advice is helpful?

Hey Montana we got a call yesterday(Friday) They definitely had a tough week. But I think I remember these 2 weeks are the hardest. My daughter said that 4 people went home this week. One was her new friend. I asked her if she knew who belonged to Montanamom she hasn't said. They had inspection and the whole div. didn't do well. We are driving up for PIR and I got reservations at the Navy lodge. I hope this upcoming week is better for all.

Hi southern sailor one if the gals that got sent home was really close to my daughter too and it's hard for her to see people being sent home. Hopefully this week will be better. Where are you driving in from? My mom and I are staying at the quality inn and I haven't yet signed up for a meet and greet yet have you? My daughter's name is Shelbi.

We are driving up from Huntsville Al. straight shot North if I remember its like a 10 to 12 hour drive.   I have not signed up for any meet and greets I didn't know we had to. Where do I go to do that do you know? I will ask my daughter if she knows Shelbi? My daughters name is Cassandra but we only use Cassie. She was section leader I do not know if she still is in that position after this last week. Are you coming from Montana? I have a brother in Great Falls.

Kitten says Hello

Cute
I will ask Shelbi if she knows Cassie. I think there is a link somewhere fir Sarge's page but I haven't signed up yet. I understand some are doing a basket from their state to raffle. M&G are optional but seem helpful.
Great Falls is 110 miles from Lewistown. Is your brother in the air force there?

For Sarge's FB page, search Sarge John L. Spadaro. We are going to the meet & greet on Thursday. We are bringing a basket from PA to raffle, also made an extra kids one. Staying at the Navy Lodge. Getting nervous about BS21, some are saying it could be delayed because of the govt. shut down? Anyone have info on this?

Where is everyone? We will probably go to Sarges I just clicked on RSVP but will have to go on facebook and  RSVP for 4 of us. We are staying at the Navy Lodge also. Hey BS has nothing to do with the Gov't it is a review of the SRs what they learned in bootcamp.

Hey there everyone! Haven't been keeping up very well on here! We are staying at the Navy Lodge and going to the meet and greet. Since we are in central Iowa, we will be driving in, but I think we will take advantage of the shuttle to and from PIR. I will be so excited to see Court, my husband may have me tied up in the back seat!!  She also said that the whole division had a tough week and didn't do so well on inspections. I hope they have a better week!

I received a letter today. No phone call though maybe tomorrow. Still seems like they are having a tough week should be getting better.

Did anyone receive a phone call over the weekend? Just wondering how the division was doing, and hoping they had a better week than last. I didn't hear from Court, but maybe she used phone time to call some friends or her Dad.
