Hi,

I thought we could try for a get together on November 16 at 1pm at the Perkins in New Brighton. The address is 696 W County Road D, New Brighton MN 55112.

I was unable to make the last two get togethers due to other commitments, so am looking forward to this one. Hope to see lots of faces there! And photos from recent trips and weddings!

Yeah, I'll be there!  Thanks for setting this up, we did miss you this last meeting.  :)

This is funny that you posted this get together today, I was just doing the same when I read your note.  We had talked about meeting at that tea room in Anoka off of main street and 3rd.  I did check into doing it.  I'm just going to post this info so I can throw it out and maybe we can talk about going to this place for the meeting in January at our next get together.  It would have been iffy whether we could have gotten our whole group in November, anyway.  Due to the holiday season ramping, they're busy already with reservations.  We could NOT have gotten more than 8 people to go (they didn't have the room.)  It's kind of pricey, but for a one time event it would be fun.  For just tea (or coffee or rasp lemonade if you prefer) and desserts its $14/person.  For some scones/sandwiches with tea, it's $17/person.  For scones/sandwiches and dessert with tea its $25.00/person.  For groups larger than 5 people, we need to pay in advance, so I'd be okay with putting the reservation in, just would want some firmer commitments from people on attendance.

See you on Nov. 16th!

Beth Reiners

The tea room sounds fun, we will have to make a point of going there. I chose the Perkins in New Brighton for the easy access off 35W for those who may be traveling from the north, south or even Wisconsin.

See you then!

glad to see this group is here. Have you had much response? Is there a group on facebook for this? I have been asking in some groups on facebook. there are a few people interested in meeting. Unfortunately this time does not work for me, as I work during the day.

Welcome to the group! There are typically between 5-10 people that attend from what I've seen from the lunches I've been to and from photos of the last couple that I've missed. It's always a good time, hopefully your work schedule will allow for you to attend soon. We don't have a facebook page for this group that I'm aware of.

I'll be there.

I came back from Vegas with MONEY so I will be at Perkins in November!!

I have a wedding that day so I won't be able to attend.

Hopefully next time

Ann

I'll be able to attend on Nov. 16th.  JJ, good for you for winning in Vegas!  :)  Here is a pic of my sailor's wedding.  I'll bring a few more on the 16th.  Some of you met Megan, the bride, last July.  She made her wedding dress herself.  I struggle to sew on a button so I'm impressed.

Gorgeous dress! I'm impressed. I teach sewing to middle school kids and can't imagine making a wedding dress. Good for her :-)

I have a morning meeting, but hope to make the lunch. It'll be good to see everyone.

Okay, I think I counted 6 for tomorrow so Perkins is holding the table in the sunroom for us, and if more make it we can move to two tables pushed together in the main room. Now to go home and print my pictures tonight..

Disregard the above about the sunroom, we will have two tables together in the main room.
