Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 801

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

When I talked to my son yesterday he said it would be November before he got paid; that they just submitted their banking info last week. He does not have Navy Federal.
Yeah! Just got a one hour call from my SR. Is having a much better week. Thank you all for prayers. He said he can tell when we are praying for him and to keep them coming. He was so happy that we are one month from seeing each other. Such a good evening.

I received another call from my SR this afternoon.  It was a short call but he sounded really good.  He wanted to call and talk to his sisters.  They both have missed all his phone calls.  He said he will call again on Saturday.  I'll be running in a race and told him I will have my phone on me.  He said he received my letter the other day and it was good to hear from me. I'm really missing him today.  The dog and I slept in his room last night. Feeling very blessed.  Cardiologist appt. is 10/29.  :)))))

My SR called yesterday at 5.  Got a 55 min phone call!  So wonderful! Said things are going well, and they are counting down the days. I believe he said that everyone who had a make-up test or retest on Tuesday passed, so that was good news for the division.  They are all counting down the days, as we are.

I haven't cried in a couple of weeks.  Everyone was right, it does get easier.  But now I'm sad because it's getting easier, if that makes sense. LOL

Hope everyone has a great day!

I received an hour call yesterday too!  He sounded so good...had some funny stories to tell and let me know he's eating good. LOL. He mentioned that he got a sinus infection, then ear infection and is hoping to be cleared, by the doctor, to get back in the pool today. He misses swimming and was put on light duty due to being sick. But all in all, he said keep the letters coming. They enjoy reading letters from home to each other. I can't see the count down counter on my computer at work...is it 28-29 days left till we see our sailors?!?!?!!!

Hi everyone if your SR Is SHIP 04 and DIV 801 please send a friend request and if you like mention your son or daughter last name. I would love to get to know you all before PIR and Meet n Greet. I also like to write and talk to my son about his fellow sailors he is friends with. He loves the idea of this whole Navyformoms thing! Now my husband is on Navyfordads:). We are from Jasper, AL. I will message you my sons last name as well after we establish friendships so it is not public. Thanks! Look forward to getting to know all of you.

Hi, my son is SHIP 04, DIV 801

Hello All. I am looking for the mom of sailor in my son's unit (ship 4 div 801) he refers to by last name. His last name begins with Uat. If you recognize yourself here, please send me a friend request.

Hi all! Have any Moms received a phone call this past weekend or this week?  Received any letters yet this week?

I was hoping for a call on Saturday, but never got one. Usually we get his letters on Thursday, so I am hoping for one tomorrow.
I have not heard from my son either. I am hoping for a phone call this weekend. Received my first letter last Friday.
I have not heard from my son either. This Texas mom is waiting patiently for mid November.
