Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 801

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Prayers out to your son ALNavy.

Praying that I get a call today from my son. So glad that you other moms got a call today. Maybe tomorrow.  I hope everything is okay!  I can't help from worry when I don't get tot talk to him. The letters that he sent lifted my spirits though!

I finally got to talk to my SR today for the first time since he left! Was totally not expenting a call today so we're thankful we didn't miss him. He sounded really good and said everything was fine. He also said he'd received our cards and letters we had sent to the first division/address we had before he moved to 801 :)

ALNavyMom...I'm praying for your son

Thank you rescueswimmermom. He was very down and emotional about it.

ALNavyMom...Has your son has this happen to him before?

He was just down. I asked if they were working well together he said they were getting there. He did not have to learn good study skills in High School even though he graduated at the top of his class. Unfortunately it was too easy. So he is getting used to a lot of new things and I think things not working out perfectly threw him for a loop. A life lesson. Hopefully he will be focused and feel positive going into this week. One of those in charge told them if they don't pass they get kicked out of the program so that's weighing on him pretty heavy. He worked hard for over a year to get there. We are praying God's will be done.

I pray, as a group, they will encourage each other through this tough time. I really was hoping to get to talk to my son this weekend. Maybe next weekend! My son also worked very hard to get where he is today, so I can relate to what you're saying. I will keep positive thoughts and many prayers for our sailors!

Definitely praying. Hopefully you will get a call this week. He said you mentioned him in a letter. He doesn't know what to think about moms knowing each other before they even do! Praying for their division this week and every week forward. Burning my Navy candle tomorrow while I'm home, too!

Hi Moms! Does anyone know when the Battle Station is for Div 801?

Any of your SR who arrived 9/23 get paid 10-15? Do they use Navy federal? My son does not use Navy Federal but did have a voided check and deposit slip. Trying to figure this out. I have access to his acct so I can pay his truck payment. Wandering when to expect pay?
My son also brought a voided check, and left on 9/23. I checked his account he did not have any deposits made to it. I haven't even thought to ask him about his pay. I am hoping he calls on Saturday, if he does I will ask him, and relay any info. I get.
