Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 801

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I haven't heard anything yet.  Check out the post I just made on the main page.  My SR's letter I received yesterday seemed upbeat and he mentioned a few important things about training!  Also, I heard we probably won't get a phone call until the "I'm a sailor" call... :(

Received a phone call on Oct. 16th, but nothing since.  Only received one letter, but he's not much of a writer, so I was shocked to get the one letter :) I know they are busy so I'm good with it.

Have a wonderful weekend ladies!

801. Letters today were great! If you are any of these let me know: M()r, H*()a, J*()i, H*(), P*()s, V*()y, H*(), M*()r. DIV 801. Also in a questionnaire said his Division ranks 4 on a 1-10 scale of working as a team. Pray they pull it together before BS21. He got a perfect score on Bunk Makeup and Fold and Stow with no hits. They got a flag for that. They scored 4.8 out of 5 on 2 others. He is giving God the glory for everything. I'm a proud Navy mom! Said they still have a lot to do so keep praying.

*(Last name edited out)

I am last name P*()s. Glad you received a letter. My SR is not much of a writer and I have only received 1 letter so far. I am so excited for PIR. Thanks for sharing the info.

I am the mother of a V

Hi ya'll!  I received 3 letters from my son yesterday too.  He says they are doing great as a division, but didn't mention they were ranked that low as a division. He too has been doing great with Bunk inspections...no hits.  He mentioned they earned 2 more Flags, which means they are working well as a division, right?  I'm new at this military thing, so any insight would be helpful to me.  He didn't give me any BS21 details, so if you can tell me anything, that would be great too. He also mentioned that they, as a division, received these ranks just last week, out of a 5.0, they received a 4.8, 4.6 (I think) and a 5.0!  He also said they were complimented on those scaores too!  HOOYAH Division 801!

ALNavyMom: Our son's think it would be good for us to sit by each other at graduation. So, hopefully we can discuss at the Meet-n-Greet!

Rescueswimmermom. I think that's so great! I am so happy that he has a good friend there. And he tells me they stay up talking about their moms all the time:).

do you know anything about BS21, or do we need to private message?  My son mentioned this week was the gas chamber! Yikes!

Thanks for posting the video! :)

Is anyone having problems printing their gate passes?  I have the letter with the password but it keeps telling me the password is incorrect.  Help!

Type your password in UPPERCASE only. Mine worked by typing it this way.

Question. Sarge said best to take car if you have one rather than shuttle. Everything I've read for 2 months here said otherwise. Any advice? I have paid no attention to anything about driving in that morning because we intended to use Sarge.
