My son just called!!! He is in the FIT program, he just needs to shave a few seconds off of his run but he has passed everything else!!! Woooooo Hoooooo I am so glad that he got to call and he sounded happy and POSITIVE that he is going to get this run!!! That was a hard 3 weeks to endure after getting the initial call that he won't graduate with his division. But things are looking up!!!!

I just got a letter from my SR today, he passed his run!!!!! Thanks for your continued prayers and support. He does say that he will have to wait for the next BS to come up so that he can participate in it. He also told me that he had the H1N1 (Swine flu) and is in medical. Not sure of when he got the flu and how long he has been down with it, but says that he can write everyday now. He seems in good spirits so he must be coming out of the worst part of being sick now.
That's great that he passed his run!!! I'm sorry that he won't have BST until The end of December.
Thank you!
Awesome job and congratulations to you and your Sailor!!! Woo Hoo!!!
Thank you! That was the good news, now there is some bad news. He called today and said that he was sick and after and only after he passed his run, was he sent to medical. They found that he has pneumonia, instead of the flu, and his left lung was collapsed. Now he has to get better in order for him to be able to do BS, or be medically separated from NAVY. I am so upset, but he sounded good on the phone. He is in now what you call RCU Fit, so he has moved from the FIT DIVISION to this unit. Please continue to pray for him!!
Praying.
I am so happy for happy for you good luck to your SR
Hi there Carafid1, He is going to A school in Pensacola, FL. I haven't heard from my son since 11/26, hopefully he will call this week or at least get to call home for Christmas. I heard that RTC won't have anymore Battlestations until the first of the year, but not sure. I just wish I would hear something!! Thanks for asking!!!
Yes, that is correct that there is not a PIR until 01/03/2014, so no BST until that week or perhaps the end of the week before.
Check your My Page.
hang in there Hayden's Mom we are all cheering him on
Hayden called today and is being separated. He gave it his all but just couldn't pass the run, thanks everyone!
