Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 079 and 080

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Sounds like 79 is doing great!  Let's keep praying for them!

Just got a call from my son!  Ship 13, Div 79.  Said that he and another SR from Cincinnati have become good friends.  Any of you out there from Cincinnati?  So glad that he has a someone to help get through this with.  He sounded great!  So very proud of this young man.

anybody else from georgia?

My son is s13/079. We're from Georgia.

Has anyone received a letter yet? My son is div 079. Our first  call was 7 or 8 minutes and the second came Sunday and was only 3. I don't understand why his calls or so short comparatively to others in his division. Any ideas? He says he likes it and sounds good. I just wish I has more time or a letter. Still no letter.

Stacey, Hang in there!  I bet we have a letter by the end of this week. My son said that he thought that they would be writing letters this last Sunday. If that is the case, then depending on where we live, and the Christmas holiday, we should get them by Friday or Saturday.  Maybe even a phone call on Christmas.  Let's pray for it! Take care, and hold on to HOPE!

We got letters today down here in Georgia!!  Our SR sounds really good!!!

Received a letter!  All is well, sore and tired but the food is good. :)

Anyone else hear from their SR today about winning a flag in 079 div.  Do you know what it was for?

Today, Saturday, December 28th.  Still no letter, and didn't get a call.  But one of our moms who's son is in Div. 79 did.  And she was so excited.  Said that our boys won a graduation flag.  That is so awesome!

Hi all!  Just got a letter from my son. Says that he is really sick.  I am sure that his friend that he met there at BC wrote the letter for him.  Because, it is not in my son's hand writing.  If you have a son, named Tim, I just want to give you and your son a HUGE HUG!  I just pray that I my son, and all of our sons, get better soon, as they have all gotten sick I guess.  Prayers for all of them.  Thanks again Tim!  Can't wait to meet this wonderful friend of my sons!

I think that is so great these kids are going out of their way to do things for the ship mates!  That's so good to hear! They are definitely making life long friends.  I hope your son is feeling better too...I know a lot of them have been sick so hopefully he's over whatever it was he had.
