Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 087 and 088

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello.  I'm looking forward to meeting some of the other mothers from Ship 09 Div 087/088.

Hello. My son is from Ship 09 Div 087. This is the first I have heard that they are combined with Div 088. I sure do miss him! I want to wish all of you with loved ones in  Boot Camp a Merry Christmas! I hope we get a call today.

Hello. My son is in Div 087. Just starting to book my visit for PIR 2/7/14. A bit worried about how soon to go to base in morning. Hear gates open at 630. Looking forward to connecting with other families and showing support for these wonderful and young men and women

I look forward to meeting you as well. What is your son's A school?

My son is a Nuke.  How about yours?

He is a Nuke too! I was hoping he would meet some fellow Nukes in Boot Camp.

Hello!  I have one in Ship 09 Div 088!  Merry Christmas.. hope we all get calls today!

Just starting to scour this website to see if any body has heard from their Recruit.

I'm hoping we do get a call today and it would be nice if it was tonight.  Both me and my husband are working and I'm sure dad would like to be able to say hello also.  Merry Christmas!

I am also scouring and looking to see if anyone else is getting calls.  I am at work until 4:30pm PST, so I am both hoping it comes after that and dreading waiting..heres hoping that this ship gets to call!!!!!

Well folks, no phone calls. I read somewhere that the only ones permitted to call were the ones who will be graduating in 2 weeks. I hope, at least, that the recruits got a chance to get to know each other better.

Hello, my child from Ship 09 Div 088. I received my first letter today.
