Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 075 and 076

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Happy Dance that you got to talk to him.  She wasn't on the phone with me when they told her it was time.  She had called to check on her Grandma and wish her a Happy Birthday for Monday.  She wanted to make sure Grandma knew she was thinking of her.  My mom is going through Chemo and she has a treatment on Monday, her birthday, and my SR made a promise that if she got a 5.0 on her test on Monday she would call her then too.  I told my SR to call her and talk to her first, then if she had enough time, then she can call me.

Hope your son gets to feeling better.

I still have not received any word from my SR and am very disappointed. glad you ladies got to talk to your kids. did caller id show a number or did it just say restricted?
It shows a number from Waukegan, Il
Thanks Christina. i hope my son calls soon. did your SR say if they all get to make a call or no.
No, he didn't say. Is your son 076 or 075? My son is 076, but 076 and 075 are in the same room and bunk together.
sorry just getting back to you I'm not online that much. my son is in 075. i miss him so much today. I give anything just to hear his voice.
Has your son called at all since the "I am here" call? I know one mom told her her son probably didn't call because he didn't want to get emotional in front of everyone. I kinda wish I didn't hear my son upset but hearing his voice is so good too. It is bitter sweet.

Talked to my son's dad and he did receive a call from our SR Saturday around 6pm. He said they talked for 5 minutes. My son said he was going to call me so he was going to split the talk time. Then he had to hang up quickly as there was a lot of commotion in the background.

so we have our plane tickets just need to figure out where to stay where are most of you staying? we are still reseaching

I am staying at the Courtyard by Marriott

thanks everybody looks like we will be staying at the holiday inn express.

I am lucky enough to stay with my in-laws.  They are only an hour from base.  We are going up the night before to the meet and greet and then up early and go to PIR
