Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 807

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

No call here - but I've asked my son to call his younger brother so not sure I'll get to talk to him anyway.  I know his brother will be pretty thrilled that he gets the first call though.  That will make my day.  My boys are very close and I think Little Brother (19) misses his Big Brother more than he would ever show or say.  :)  Praying he gets a call soon.

Did you say you got your 2nd letter? I keep hoping for mine too! Hurry up, Mr. Mailman!

Only one letter as of Thursday (1/2/14) mail.  Praying there is one there today.  :)

I'm right there with you TJsMom! Happy New Year everyone!
helo girls, I understand that the package of photos you choose is directly recruit there. I would recommend you ask your SR before you order you fail to do that double ordering. I have several friendships that have already graduated and do them directly. Have a nice day and happy new years!!!

Hi JLOWife:  Am I correct in that you are recommending the Moms order their photo package directly and not ask their recruit to order and pay for the package you want, prior to PIR?

Or are you telling us to just make sure the Mom and their recruit are clear on who is going to order and pay for the photo package so there is no double ordering?

Thank you

Hi
The recruit does the management at the base directly to sort photos we do not have to. But if they ask questions in letters to his recruits if they ordered.

Just to let you all know that you cannot order the photos of your SRs directly from RTC..  Your SRs will have a chance to order them while there...either paying for them, which allows them to mail them home or hold them until after PIR and giving them to you then....or....not paying for them, and picking them up at the Photo Lab by the NEX after PIR, paying for them then.  If you call the Photo Lab and ask to order your SR's pictures, they will tell you that you cannot---only your SR can.  Here is the Photo Lab phone number for anyone who wants to ask questions:  847 578 6205   You can order more after PIR, however.  The most popular package to order is Pkg A which includes the yearbook for free if your SR orders the pkg during bootcamp.  You cannot preview the proofs....only your SR can during Bootcamp.

This is very good info.  Thank you.  Now we all know how to proceed.  Much appreciated!

Exactly that was what he wanted to say to mothers. Thanks for the detailed clarification dianne.

good morning for everyone!!

Anybody know for sure when our SRs get their first "big" (LOL) paycheck? I know it should be small since I believe they deduct for uniforms.

who knows... my husband got there the 10th so I was hoping we'd get paid the 1st but still nothing. thankfully even though his basic pay will be small we will still be getting BAH (whenever we do get paid).. hoping for the 15th!
