Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 089 and 090

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I understand, I look every day for a letter since I missed my phone call. I have not heard from him since he left. I miss him so much and of course I worry on how he is getting along in boot. It's nice to have someone to reach out to now I know someone else will have a love one in the same place as my son. I just hope I get a letter for I leave to go to Graduation, I know my son is not a writer but I begged him before he left to write me even if it's only 4 sentences. lol I hope your hubby is doing well too.

Hi Dierdre1202! My son is in Div 090 and going to A school in SC also for the nuke program.  What is your son signed up for?  We are originally from Texas but live in NE Louisiana now.  I've always heard about Chicago pizza and thought it would be something fun for us to do after PIR.   I'm waiting to hear back from my sailor to see if thats good with him.  Thanks for the info!

I don't have much more info than that either.  I don't know if SC school is only for nukes of if there are other studies going on there. Did you get a call last Saturday?

Thank you for the info on the pizza. I did a screen shit if that!!! B'smom my son is in 089 and going to nuke in sc also!!
No no no screen shot !!!! Oh my goodness why did autocorrect not catch that one. Lol sorry

Lol...gotta love auto correct, or not...:)

Too funny, Katy!  You know, you can edit your posts on the discussion groups....not on the posts on the main PIR page, but in the discussions, you can, for a certain amount of time.  Thanks for the laugh of the day!  :-)

I posted from my cell phone and could not find the edit,,,lol my family got a kick out of my embarrassment !!! haha

Has anyone received any letters from a recruit in Division 090 (not including the form letter)?

I haven't received a letter yet =(

I think they were holding the ones I sent last Monday because he said that he hadn't received any letters from me.. I don't know whats going on and I am going crazy here..
