Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 061 and 062

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Same here Dana D. From what my SR said in her last letter they really do seem to be coming together as a team. She also said it was only a very few that got in trouble so hopefully it's all ironed out for BST. Anxiously awaiting a phone call or at least another letter. Until then lots of prayers being sent their way.
I received a letter from the church stating that my daughter has been attending service while at bootcamp. This has warmed my heart and has comforted me knowing she has had that opportunity to attend and is finding comfort there. amazing that they thought to send us a letter and bring us comfort in that way. Can't wait for the 17th.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!!

Boots  . . . did your daughter tell you the date of the final PFA test?  If not, my daughter told me it is scheduled for January 10th.

The txt correct feature messes me up every time!  LOL

Heard from my daughter too in Div 62. Best New Years present ever. She also sounded very good and confident about the next few weeks. So glad they finally found their niche. She even told me how much fun bootcamp has been lol. I wasn't expecting that comment :) Can't wait until the 17th!!
I also received a call from my daughter and she sounded great and very calm also! Not near as emotional as the last call! PIR is almost here! Getting so excited! I'm still laughing at comments (or rather text errors) by boots. Haha. What a great way to start the new year!!!

I just hung up from talking to my daughter.  My call came late as she had watch when the others were permitted to call.  There were a couple others waiting to make a call, so if you haven't heard from your SR yet, it may still be coming!

She sounded positive about everything and said the division is really starting to work together and not get in trouble so much.  She asked us to send her hair straightener and a pair of contacts that their RDC said they could have these items for PIR.  She told us to be at PIR by 6:30 Friday morning and she would be able to spend the afternoon with us until about 7:30 that evening.  She also said we could visit with her at the airport until she fly's out on Saturday. . . of course she had no information about when or where she will fly out!

It was so wonderful to finally hear from her!  It is a Happy New Year!

I got my call! My SR sounded great as well. Same info was given. She called to let us know to be there by 6:30 for PIR. Let the countdown begin!

Am so glad we all got calls!!!  My SR said she is making friends and wondered if I had been talking to any Moms on N4M.  !  She said she is making plans with kids that are going to Pensacola.

She old me one of her good friends is the section leader in 062.   Sound familiar?  Do I dare mention names?

I believe my daughter maybe?
Just received another letter from my daughter and she said they are beginning to figure out who's moms talk to one another on this website. She said its really funny! Getting more excited each day!
