Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 085 and 086

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Ha Ha i feel the same way !!

Any calls in our div today

No calls to my house, RAINE... even while I was in the shower. :) Has everyone booked a hotel for PIR? Anyone know the best place to stay?

Motormom - i am booking this weekend. i think i may checkout the navy lodge.  Its close to RTC and inexpensive 65.00/night.  And that's good because i need 2 rooms.  Oh and sadly no calls so far or letter(:   We already booked our flight.

That's funny, that's the same hotel I was thinking I might book. Looks good but I wasn't sure if they had a shuttle for PIR. Price on Orbitz is 109 for two queen.

I was looking at that one too. Booking this weekend!!
Not yet.

Last letter we received said they get to call about every two weeks. That would make today the day! Sort of hesitant to run errands today. Last letter he wrote on the 29th and his brother received it on the 3rd. Surprised it made it that soon. Here's hoping we all get a call today.

Spoke to my son about an hour ago. He sounds good! They have long days and alot have had colds including my son but he's better. He said the extra PT is good to keep them in shape. Academic testing is on Tuesday but should be OK. He said it takes a while to get letters. One more month then PIR! Wish we knew how long they'll have for leave. He said 6hrs to a few days. Pray for better weather than they've had lately. We are traveling from New Mexico. His girlfriend from Florida. Would hate to miss it due to travel delays.

Well just received my first letter!  yay. He says overall everything is going well. Passed his swim test and hasn't gotten IT'd. Talked about the feast they served for Christmas dinner lol. They are doing a good amount of marching. did not elaborate on anything else. I was happy to hear he is doing well, we actually relieved lol

Whoop whoop ladies an gents calls are coming, I just heard from husband♥
