We are sending pillowcases but they have been taken care of. The thing to do is STOCKPILE for next month!!
We are NOT sending pillowcases.....is what Pat's computer left out, I do believe.
I found French Vanilla creamers & squeeze bottles of MIO type liquid drink flavoring all at "Big Lot's". Two small Nerf footballs & a Frisbee on clearance in K-Mart. Gotta love a bargain!
Hi Sheryl,
I'm not sure how many military folks you have in this group but I will be able to make a big dent in their request for snacks.
We had a packing party. 70 boxes will be heading out for this adoption, possibly more if you need it. The Confirmation kids from my church, St. Francis de Sales in Lake Zurich, raised funds and shopped. The boxes are filled with most of the snack items. We didn't pack any microwaveable snacks or Rice Krispy treats. We weren't sure the Rice Krispy treats would survive the heat but I guess they must be like Twinkies, indestructible!
Hi Sandi, I will PM you the address. For the future, request to join "MAS We Ship Love". (Go to the "Molly's" page and scroll down until you see "MAS We Ship Love" in dark print.) Click on it and request to join. I will approve you as soon as I see it. Then you will have access to the addresses any time you want!
The group will LOVE cards from first grade children!! Thank you!! Pat
I will make another batch of neck cooling scarves to send... I also just bought a bunch of valentine decorations... looked for st patty day stuff but did not see it yet...
I remember my son saying that Djibouti smells about the worst of anyplace (even the outhouses at summer camp) he has ever been. So I will find some air freshners to send and Lysol wipes.
Hey Susan do you know how many neck cooler you have or can make? I have 13 males right now, I know I can make some more. I have some camo fabric in green and pink. Let me know and I will get on them. I also got some crystal air freshener and some puzzle books I can send.
