Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 085 and 086

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Big Tuesday Test

Hi Team,
My grandson is in Ship 03 Div 086 and he told me he was having a big test this last Tuesday. Anyone get any news about this? From what I understand, if they ace it, they get a phone call :) He is going to SC after PIR to Nuke School.

(copied and pasted from separate discussion)

My son's fiance got a call this afternoon. Says he got a 100% on one of his tests and that wins him a 30 min. call! So proud of him. Sad that some recruits are not getting letters. Please give us more info and we'll write. My son is also a nuke and going to SC. He says he's made some other Nuke friends. Maybe they've met.

How wonderful, congratulations. I haven't heard how my Nuke did on his test but wait anxiously to get another call or hear from my daughter (his Mom.) I keep wondering how long we will have after PIR to be with him before their flight to SC.
Hey ladies, keep your phone close, just received a call!! Everything is still going well, still in second week of training, they had a written test and he passed that. Making new friends, the RDC's are cool and the food is still good. He only had a few minutes so that was all I was able to ask. He sounds great!

I just got a letter from my SR.  He dated it 01/05/14 week 2 day 2 (on hold cuz of weekend)

Last week in one of his letters I included a letter for him to give to someone who has not received any letters.  When I talked to him on Saturday he told me that he gave the letter to one of his friends and that the friend really enjoyed it, especially the jokes.  I asked him to send me the names of any others in his division who were not receiving letters.  In the letter he sent me today he included 6 last names. If you would like to send them cards & letters please IM me and I will give you their names

Okay, while I was writing this post he called.  What an awesome day,  a letter and a phone call.  He said that today is 2-5.  Said they got more uniforms and of course talked about how cold it is.

ok somebody help   what is TG-13

TG=Training Group

The 13 means this TG was started in the 13th Week of the fiscal year.
