OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi Heidi, you can search for your son's sub group, but you won't learn much. Not much (any?) sub group info is shared online. Your son needs to give your name to the boat's ombudsman and she will keep you informed. You should not be posting where his boat is going either. You should delete your comment. He could get in trouble.
Hi Heidi, the San Jua.n doesn't have a page I'm assuming that your son is going to the San Juan, my son is currently on the San Juan just attached to it in Oct, the ombudsman is wonderful as soon as she gets your name she will email you. Not sure if I can anise any questions but you can pm me if you want Chris
How do I delete my post? This site is so hard to navigate
There should be a little x up in the right hand corner, but it sounds like I was wrong and it is his boat and not his destination, then you are fine. If it is a destination, the just click on the x.
I dont see an x is it because I'm on my phone? I sent ADM a note requesting to delete I don't see any delete option on my post just see it on my replies,I think I'm going to stick to Facebook..its much easier lol
Phones don't show all the options here or on FB. Before you give up on this site, be sure to check out the files on Sub Moms. There is some excellent information there. They're called Pages and they are under the member pictures.
