Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 085 and 086

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

That is great to hear. I will be looking for a letter from my SR tomorrow.  Im guessing that he wrote the letter on Sunday.  Did he say what day Hell week will star?  If we go by the DOT we know then Friday will be 4-1.  Now obviously since they are a push division they must get their training done more quickly so we cannot go soley on the day to day that is listed on navedep.com so I'm curious when Hell Week will start.

Laura, Have you already gotten the manila envelope back?  I sent my SR one on the 6th and havent gotten it back yet.  When I talked to him on Thursday he still hadnt gotten it.

Anyone have a SR in ship03/085 from FL who builds mud trucks?

I haven't seen much mention of anyone other than skibluedoggy getting a letter this week & no phone calls. I didn't get either from mine. Neither did his GF. I'm guessing they are just really busy. I'm not worried because I know they are fine but am just hungry for any information. This week has been the hardest so far for me. Heck you should have seen me when Sarge's meet and greet was posted. I was crying like a baby! I cried because I was happy that we are far enough along for it to be posted and because three weeks feels like forever. I have made a concerted effort not to bring up my SR everytime I see a friend but so far I'm not succeeding. My SR told me that they live, eat, breath RTC. I wonder if they realize that we live, eat, breath them

VKat,  I've been feeling the same way.  Anxious to hear from my SR.  Last call and letter received on the 9th.

Me too. That in itself is a comfort. It means they are busy training. They will write/call when they can & they will be happy because they are working together and becoming Sailors
Whoop whoop I got a call this evening from my husband an he sounds great, I cant to see him♥
What time did he call? Did he say what they've been doing?
I did get a letter this week, no phone call.
My husband called around 6 he said he passed a inspection 100 percent an that's why he got a 30min call
But he said they have been busy, they did firearm training, an they did pfa again, an they have a major inspection coming up soon
I am so excited. I can't believe we have all made it to within 2 weeks of seeing our SR!!! I am counting down the days and praying that the weather will cooperate with us so we can all be there at PIR!!!
Did anybody get letters this week?i haven't gotten anything as of yesterday. I imagine they're crazy busy but the silence is going to do me in. I'm of the thought that 'no news is good news' but seriously, it's making me a little crazy.
