Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 075 and 076

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

not yet.  I need to find one for my parents and the 3 of us.  hoping to get one in the same place so we aren't scattered around.  My husband and mom have to stay at the hotel during Graduation because my ex is on the list with myself, her sister and my father.  But that is fine.

Hi all, Happy New Year! Did anyone else receive a phone call on Monday? I'm just really curious as to why our SR called. I don't know if he earned it and just did not say so, but said they were going to be very busy now the next few weeks. Please let me know if you also got calls or not. I'm kind of concerned and am wondering if he was supposed to be telling us bad news and didn't. My anxious mom side of me is taking over and it doesn't help any that he is my only child and I am always worried sick about him. Thank you and again Happy New Year!

Christina,

I got a call on Monday evening from my SR.  He said his division was getting to call.  He is in 75.I was surprised because he had called on Saturday.  I heard 76 was also getting to call, but it sounds like not all of them got to call.

I wish I could have gotten a call.  It is so hard for me to remember everything that we needed to talk to her about.

so glad you got your call

we just booked our reservations for PIR.  we are at the LaQuinta - Gurnee, IL.  decided that we are going to split costs with my parents.  Only makes sense.  So excited.  25 days

glad you have your reservations its nice you are able to split the cost makes it a little easier. I am enjoying seeing our PIR group move up and get closer.

I see it grow and grow.  Funny, my husband says "how can you keep up"  I said " I can't"  LOL

Hi! My fiance is also in 076! We are from Georgia and his A school will be in Groton Ct for submarine electronics. His mom, sister and I are coming up for PIR. So excited to see him and meet everyone!

hi, meb004 welcome to the group! my son is in 76 also our boy will head to Penscola long way from home we are from Oregon

Hello Michaelsmom,

My husband and I just spent a week of vacation in Oregon (stayed at the base of Mount Hood) for a week and saw the entire area as well as traveling up to Seattle for a week. I have NEVER seen such greenery in my life and was in awe of the beauty! I found a piece of bark on the ground covered in an inch of moss and baggied it up to bring home and show the kids, because you just can't believe it unless you see it! I know there is a price to pay for that beauty with the rain, but I LOVE rain, so that didn't make me sad at all!  :-) Nice to meet you!

Daniesmom, very pleased to meet you so happy you enjoyed our beautiful state I am rather bias on that subject I have been blessed to grow up here. We live in Southern Oregon. Sadly we are in a dry weather year while the midwest and east coast is getting lots of weather we are having none Crater Lake National Park normally has 70 inch of snow but this year  it only has 4 inches pretty scary for summer fire season. Where are you from? getting very excited to for PIR.

TY for the note Michaelsmom. I grew up in Southern California (Orange County), and was relocated to Boulder, Colorado in 1995 right after my Recruit was born. We LOVE it here! It is definately dry here, but amazing and beautiful! Will you be able to travel to graduation? If so, will you be going to the Meet and Greet with Sarge as well? Hope so as I would love to meet you as well.
