For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

in his 30's? I think he replaced my SR as section leader. B said he is a nice guy and that he feels bad for him having to be a section keader.

yes he is... and im glad he likes him and oh no feels bad for him... did he say why??? hubby hasnt said much....

only because of him having to be a section leader. B didn't like having to yell at people and said it was very stressful when he had to do it.

Did anyone get a call yet? My boss told me to turn my volume up on my phone and carry it everywhere I go today in case he calls since I missed the call last week. We normally are not a loud to carry them around the building or have the sound up but she said this was a special thing. The phone has not rung yet, I pray my son calls, I have yet talk to him since he has been there. I hope everyone get a call today.

Troys mom no call so far :0 ( not sure if calls are done till the im a sailor like some others said or because the holiday messed it up..... kinda bummed hoped he would have been able to call for the twins bday :0 ( days not over but u who knows.... we will see......

DaniGirl I just read that they only get 3 phone calls. The last one is to tell us he is no longer a SR but a Sailor in the United States Navy! I read that on http://bootcamp.navy.mil
