Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

What os Sarge's Meet and Greet and who all can go? My husband and I are traveling with my son and daughter in law who are both Air Force but they won't be able to go to graduation because after my husband, myself and our 16 year old daughter it only left one spot and my son didn't want to put his brother in the situation of having to leave his pregnant wife at the hotel. The 4 rule stinks when you have a large family. :-(

AGREE. My sister and her two boys have decided that they would like to go up and see my SR. So now, there will be 10 of us. Not sure what to do. I RSVP'd to the meet and greet with 7 people and now there are 3 more. I don't know what to do. They are not familiar with the area.

jessiesmom2013, just send another RSVP to add the 3 more people. I think the main reason for the RSVP is so they know how much food to arrange.

How do you say how many are coming? I just checked the box to say I was coming and there wasn't anywhere to put a number.

I forgot...I RSVP'd on the PIR 1/31/14 Facebook group page. A post was put on there and we RSVP'd by adding a comment with the number of attendees. I think you could put the number attending in a comment at the bottom of the Invite that you see when you go to the link here on N4M. You could also email an RSVP number to Sarge at johnspadaro@att.net

jacdakarr, Sarge's family hosts a Meet and Greet for families and friends every Thursday that there is a PIR. He is retired Army and desires to help out military families. They foot the cost, but will accept donations to help out. He does a slide show to help families know what to expect on Friday and gives tips to help make the day smooth. Anyone in your group can come. See the link Christina gave above and Just give Sarge an RSVP of how many plan to come.
It would be great to meet a fellow Texan Navy mom!
