Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 087 and 088

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

No call or letter here either. Not sure what Battle Station means.

No letter today. Which was to be expected! I normally get letters on Friday but because of MLK day I'm hoping for Saturday. Post if any of you get a letter!!

No letters for me either.  But, I've only received 1 letter...my son had rather text.  :)

I think my boyfriend would much rather text, too! lol. We're still always hopeful, though. At least he's honest, and you know that about him and don't have to worry :)

I'm going to treasure that 1 letter....because it may be the only one he writes!  After he gets his cell phone back...it will be texts, and no voice mail set up (so no chance of leaving a voice msg).  LOL!  But, yes, at least he's honest. :)    Can't wait until we get those calls after BS!  Hope you get a letter from your boyfriend soon...hear it is really busy right now.  I'm just writing...and writing..and trying to send encouragement; and keep telling him I don't expect letters...to just concentrate on BC.   Can't wait until we see them again!  I know I will get a great big hug...and it will make my day!   I'm sure you are getting excited, that you will see your boyfriend in 2 weeks!  Hang in there!  :)

I've been writing every day as well, sending all my love and support :P He's been very greatful in the letters he's sent back. They mean a lot to me, so I'm hoping to get some this week but tomorrow is the last chance and I just don't see it happening. I don't have enough luck for it to happen.

Hope you got a letter from your boyfriend!  Keeping my fingers crossed for you!  :)

Sailormom - I am so happy for you!!!!  I hope everything is going good, and he is staying positive!  :)  Unfortunately, I didn't get a letter from my son....but I keep telling myself..."No news is good news!"...."No news is good news!"   :)  I can't wait for the 7th either!

Sailormom - No letter...no phone calls for 3 weeks now.  I am hanging on every word everyone writes!  :)  I know that my son is giving it his all though!  He wants this so much!  Yes, he is going to Pensacola for A school.  I would love to meet up at graduation, and to stay in touch.  It will be so much nicer when they get there...and we can actually visit them (or at least me...since we are over 50 miles from base).  I can't wait!  I'm so excited for him!!!

We are from North Alabama...I've got to check out Map Quest..and start planning!  :)  I'm hoping someone from 09/088 or 087 has information on their BS date(s), and shares with Diannep, so she can let us know.  We are going to have a long talk about the importance of writing letters, when I talk to my son!  LOL!

I am going to have to check the mail when I get home.  I did not recieve a letter last week.  I am so hoping to get one tonight/tomorrow!  2 weeks.. I can't believe it!  It is really almost here!!

Hurleygirl - Hope you received a letter!  :)
