Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 103 and 104

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

oh poor thing..my son had them removed when he turned 18...definitly not fun but I have to say he was a trooper though 2 of his were impacted to they needed to be removed surgically ...but they gave him good meds to get though it....I am sure he will be fine  !!!

blessed, I also have a 17-year-old daughter.  We sat with him on speaker as we all cried, until his 2-year-old baby sister figured out what we were up to and chimed in, while wiping our tears and telling us not to cry (she says he is still on an airplane when asked).  I highly suggest speaker conversations!

good suggestion...thanks!!!

I know I will next time, but call me selfish....I didn't want to wake anyone.  I wanted him to myself!  :)  At least I had him on speaker so his dad could participate.  It was funny.  His dad has been so stoic this whole time and teasing me for my unpredictable watery eyes.  But I was so excited on the call and it was Dad who was doing the crying! HA!

I agree. It seems to go up around 10:30-11 central time, so that's 8:30-9 California. Hopefully we went be busy at work, so I'll definitely be on the lookout for it.

oh urgh!  I dont know how they do it!  I was on FB stalking their page when it posted (late today I think because of the bad weather), had to look it up and was the 3rd one who got the info correctly posted all with in 7 minutes.  They must have insider knowledge!  LOL!  these are impossible questions and take a ton of hunting online.  Seriously 7 minutes to read the post, type in the search, find the correct answer and then type in the comment, I thought I was flying!  How she did it in 4 minutes beats me!  oh well, there is always next week!  Sure hope the winner is choosing div 104. :)

Wow, blessed beyond measure, you were faster than me!  It took me 12 minutes to track down the answer.  My hands were shaking and my heart was pounding, just hoping I was going fast enough to get that picture!  LOL By the time I got back to post it, they had already announced the winner.  That was quick!  Maybe next week!

is your son in 103 or 104?  hope it is 104 or we will be scrambling to beat each other next week!  We need to figure out how to beat the clock.  I can't believe how dang fast that seemed to go by.

I guess we'll be competing then, mine's in 103! Good thing for you, you're faster than me!  LOL Hopefully by PIR, we'll have both gotten our picture!

Me too!!! I was at work, by the time I got to check it they announced the winner (12 mins after it posted). I was stalking the comments to see if it was Div 104 too. -Fingers crossed-
I got to talk to my SR Saturday morning! I saw Illinois pop up and immediately started crying. I was so in shock that I forgot to ask him all the questions I had and a bunch of stuff I wanted to tell him.. He said he liked it but didn't like being away from me and his family.. I'm assuming the homesick part will lessen over time? He didn't really mention anybody in particular that's in his division (ship 14 div 103) but did say they were all missing their wives and girlfriends. The call wasn't long enough for me but I'm just happy I got one at all.. I can't wait to start getting his letters!

My SR is in div 103. I got to talk to him Saturday morning as well! I didn't think I'd get a phone call until week four or so unless he was hurt so when I saw the area code pop up on my phone, I freaked out! I didn't even think to ask any questions. He was sick, his voice was terrible and he said he even lost his voice for a day, but almost everyone was sick and everything was going fine. He's going to A School in Pensacola after PIR.
