Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 807

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

I'm so confused, can someone please tell me which meet and greet we are going to?  I rsvp'd for two different ones.

Niko's Mom - You want to go to Sarge's M & G - it is at the Sundance Saloon.  From everything I've seen posted on here, it is the most informational one for us.  I think one of them overlaps times, so you could possibly go to it for a while.  I don't trust the traffic up that way - a 5 minute drive on a normal day could take you 30 - 45 min on a bad day.  Hope to see you at Sarge's.

Niko's Mom please join us at http://navyformoms.com/events/pir-02-07-14-sarge-s-meet-and-greet Click on this link and it will give you information and you can also RSVP on that link. Also, the 807 division will have an area at the event where we will meet and sit together if you like. Just look for the Ship 4 Div. 807 sign. We would love to have you join us if you would like. I just need to know how many in your party.
Sincerely,
Shirley
Ok thank you so much. I rsvp'd when they originally opened the event then got confused when someone said I wasn't on the list. Please put us down for 3 and we'll hopefully be there around 7:30. Also, I shipped my basket stuff to our hotel but need to see if anyone can pick it up and take to meet and greet. Only problem is my husband boxed and shipped before I got the actual basket to put everything in. Someone please help!
Niko's mom,
Forgive me for not making that more clear. I'm so glad we are on the same page know. I got you and your down and I will look so forward to meeting you face to face. I will be more than happy to pick your basket stuff up from the hotel, put it together, and take it to the meet and greet I have several baskets and I can bring an extra. That will be no problem at all. What color is your stuff? What hotel did you send it to?
Sincerely,
Shirley

Shirley - where are you staying?  I'm at the Navy Lodge and hope to arrive by 3 p.m. so I could meet to help you.  Or if you are somewhere else - we could just  meet at the Sundance & put it together.  Let me know what would work best.  :)

Battle Station for 807 is tomorrow (Monday); diannep says we should get our "I'm a Sailor" call around 2PM Great Lakes time, on Tuesday, 4 Feb.

Are you coming to the PIR?  If so, you are welcome to also come to the Meet and Greet that Sarge puts on on Thursday, 6 Feb.   There will families and Navy4"Moms" there from the 807 Div.

Wow, this waiting is killing me! I can't concentrate at work and keep looking at my phone. I don't think my nerves can take much more. I'm praying for all our wonderful recruits.

What a special evening I have had! roguevalgal and mr roguevalgal :)  and I had dinner at one of my favorite Chinese Restaurants just north of PDX (Portland, OR International Airport).  I feel honored to have had this time with two wonderful people!  The weather was a bit colder than normal and a tad windy.... just breaking them in for GL (which will step it up another notch).  Hoping the weather holds steady and all arrive safely in GL.  I will be watching PIR in our conference room on Friday.  Hugs to all!
