Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 087 and 088

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Sailormom - My son called about 3:15 pm CST!!!  He's a Sailor!!   He sounded so grown up, and positive!  But, he said they were so tired...and he was coughing a lot (still has a cold).  I ask him if everyone in his Division passed; and he said he thought so.  I sure hope so!!! :)  So excited, and can't wait to meet everyone!  You ladies have been so wonderful to talk to, and share all of my thoughts and fears with.  Have you or Hurleygirl heard anything?

I'm a proud momma of a Sailor now.  Got the call about 3:25 Central Time.  So proud of my son and all the new Sailors.  He told me he would be in the PIR and graduating but he is on a Medical Hold and does not know when he will ship out.  He is a Nuke which has higher requirements on medical.  He has to check into his new housing be 1300 hours on Friday and does not know if he will have anymore leave over the weekend.  I hate the not knowing and thought that would be over today, but no.

Congratulations, Christn67!!! Hang in there!  Surely they will let you see him each day over the weekend!

Burgota - My son said he thought everyone in Div 088 made it through BS.  Have you heard anything?
