Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 107 and 108

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I got a call today as well! I kinda cried like a baby towards the end, just because I'm so proud of how well he's doing. He said he's made some friends in the division and mentioned that one recruit in his division learned that he's going to be a dad and that was heart-warming to hear for all of them. His job is laundry as well!!

I told him that there's only 33 more days until PIR and he was ecstatic to hear that. To them it doesn't seem too long but to us it feels like a lifetime!
He did say he has no idea if he'll get to call again but he said it's a good possibility he won't get to. Damn. ):

Nonetheless, I'm glad to hear they're all bonding and doing well. I'm so excited for March 14th!

33 days,  I can't wait for PIR either.   Glad he is doing well.

Haha! My ex found out at bootcamp that I was pregnant! That was over 19 years ago, and now that child is in bootcamp. But NO girl better write him and say they are pregnant. I would kill him..lol. So my son must know your boyfriend! He said a few names but didn't catch them. It's ok to cry a little bit. You will get thru it, they will too! Just keep writing and reassuring him and tell him..head down, mouth shut, ears open! Lol.....
I hope it's not us. Lol wow.....so he said they may get to call tomorrow
Well, no matter who's boy is about to be a daddy, it is a wonderful gift from god and an amazing experience. But a very hard one.
Yes it is, and if it is mine I'm gonna go with them. Lol
Hahaa, lol!

Hi Everyone,

We just got a phone call!  I am so happy especially because I missed him last week.  He said he might get to call tomorrow as well.  He sounded happy.  He said it was hard but he has made a really great friend who has helped him through the tough times.  He has only received 3 letters...I have sent a bunch.  The mail must be slow.  He is so excited that we are going to be there for graduation.  It is a happy day!

Glad you got a call, it really helps to hear from them.

We are some happy families here.

We received a call too.  So good to here from him.

Has had a cold and hoarse voice but still sounded good.  Said he had time to write today.

He said the mornings are tough and the days are long. Food is good.

Sounds about what I heard too pine view!! He said he can call tomorrow, but he is going to call his dad! Kinda sad, but I know. Have to share! My mom works for the post office and the reason it's taking so long is for a few reasons. 1) the weather has delayed a lot of mail from getting their on regular schedule time. 2) they are very short staffed at every post office becuz of budget cuts, so less carriers means longer time to get mail becuz they don't have "relievers" to come help finish a route. Hope that helps! But keep writing!

OMG, Kimlkove! YES!!! That whole sharing them with the ex sucks!!! But I guess we have to put our big girl pants on and share. :-)
