Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 097 and 098

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Knitzzz *PIR 3-7*Shp09 Div098 I believe there is a La Quinta, and I know they allow pets

I will check that out, thanks!  This morning I'm holding the cel phone again ... hoping for a call.

I reserved the Residence Inn/Marriott for 2 nights.  They allow pets w a non-refundable pet fee.  Whew!  Glad that's done.  By the way, I used the AAA rate which was less than the Navy Grad rate.  Now the debate begins on whether to leave on the 5th, or drive all day long from before dawn on the 6th!

The Navy Lodge also allows pets.

Navy Lodge

I just called The Navy Lodge and they said they were completely full with "the Marines" that week.  I'll start trying some others.  Thanks for the tip, though!  I guess it's finally time for me to commit to a reservation.

Morning ladies,

Just a reminder if you have not already done so to RSVP with Sarge for the Meet and Greet. An accurate head count helps to ensure he has enough food for the event. Again if you are interested in donating a raffle item or making a basket or bag to help offsett the cost of this wonderful event please let me know:)

This is hunter03 my son is in ship 09 div 097 I can bring a raffle item. Any ideas or items that go well. Just let me know. I responded to sarge's request bringing 4 people. Any thoughts on raffle item? We haven't gotten a call in three weeks today. Has anyone else gotten calls recently?
Hello Hunter03, I'm Jeter's mom and I'm coordinating the baskets in bags for Sarges. Do you mind if I ask what state you're from? Sarge had made a suggestion that every mom to bring a gift for the raffle cater it to something from their state. for example I'm from New Hampshire we are famous for Webster's dictionary, maple syrup and moose but we're best known for the Man in the Mountain. MY basker Will contain a little bit of these items nothing too expensive but something that represents the state where my sailor is from . I do hear you are not getting a call I haven't gotten a call in 3 weeks. my son is Not A Writer so I sent a questionnaire to fill in the blanks and haven't gotten one back yet hoping tomorrow will be the daY.

When will battle stations be taking place?? My fiance is ship 09 div 098, id just like a good idea of when so I can light a candle for him,

I believe it is the 7th week, taylorsierra93

taylorsierra93 Are you going to Sarge's Meet & Greet?  I know I've mentioned that my son and your fiance' are in the same division.  Are you staying in a hotel for PIR?

sorry I took so long to reply, had a busy week, but yes, I'm staying at the  Navy Gateway Inn and Suites on the main base, where are you staying?
