Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 123 and 124
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi tammy, my son is in ship 13 DIV 123 I received two letters yesterday from him...I was so happy to hear from him...He is home sick but doing very well and meeting a lot of new people.=)
Hello :) Where are you from? My son is calling his new friends by last name and state:) he has a new friend from Virginia :) He is doing well he was in charge of what he called the "head" but seems that didn't last two long. He wasn't too big of a fan of that. he said good behavior is getting him the extra calls and him on Facebook 2 times. He is in much better spirts and talking more about friendships than homesick. I am glad :) I think he is going to Florida to train.
What about your son?
Hi tammy, my son going to Florida also for training.
I'm in Wi not far from great lakes.
Happy Friday from Maine!! I just want to thank everyone for making the hole in my heart seem smaller every day. I look forward to meeting everyone at the Meet & Greet! Does anyone know what phase our heros/heroines are in?
No letter yet. Still waiting... We are having the funeral for my SRs grandfather today. So much emotion. A letter would perk us up a lot.
I am so sorry for your loss. That's rough. Sending you strenght and hugs. I will pray you get a letter today!
My heart felt condolences to you (bluemom) and your family. You are in our prayers. May your spirit focus on all the love around you during this difficult time. Stay strong. Your SR needs you. I do hope to hear from all our SRs sometime soon!
Thanks for the condolences! Well, it seems SR wrote his girlfriend 8 letters and none came for me and my husband. I am a bit disappointed, but his girlfriend came over to the house last night and shared all of her letters with us. That was so sweet of her. We gleaned a little bit of info out in between all the "I love yous" and "I miss yous." LOL One thing I do know is that my son really loves his girlfriend. And, he has a lot of respect for her, too. That really makes me proud. One thing I always drilled into his head...have respect for women and treat them well. I just hope they don't do something impulsive like try to get married too soon. I hear that happens a lot in the military because they miss each other so much.
I got another call now 3 yesterday. He said a lot of them have colds. Div 123 Ship 13 they are making friends.
Best
tammy
My SR called yesterday, too! Ship 13 Div 124 - all did well on test so they got to call. Mine also said it might be after BS21 before they would call again :( Said it was 2-5 so they do have a lot to accomplish before 3/28. Does anyone know if there is any chance that they would be moved to the next PIR? If they are scheduled for 3/28 and doing ok, then they will probably make it for 3/28????
My SR's bunk mate's initials are JMM - any mom out there? This is ship 13 Division 124
