I'm not really sure how this works, and if i'm even doing it right, I hope i can read everyones comments. I'm getting married April 5th this year to my lovely Fiance who is in school still. I was informed today that because someone else made a childish drawing, that was found in the bathroom of his school, he is now being bleached along with the rest of the school. He is bleached until 1 day before our wedding. That means no over nights with him, no cuddling in the morning, that means no seeing him alot for the next month. I'm just overwhelmed and was hoping for some coping mechanisms. I'm trying not to get upset, but its very hard for me. I'm new to the military life and can't understand why him! I just miss him and hope it won't effect our relationship so soon to marriage! SOS please!

xoxo

Oh no Heather! You can do this! What's a little more stress at this stage? It will be here before you know it and you will have a new last name. Makes it all worth it. These are memories that you both will look back on one day and smile. All part of the journey. I am always here for you if you want to talk. Peace and Blessings to you and yours. :))

Thanks Lucy! Your soo sweet :)

Bleached?  Do you mean "beached"?

I am sorry to hear this is happening.  You just need to keep moving forward, breathe, do the best you can.  Liberty is an earned privilege which can be rescinded at any time.  Yes,  they get punished as a group, probably because no one has stepped forward and claimed responsibility.  They will remain restricted until they cough up the culprit.  At least he gets some normal liberty time!   Yes, this can happen again, in the fleet.  There will other times you make plans and they will be cancelled because he will get recalled, or need to work until the job is done.  It sucks, but you're getting a real taste of the military early on.  I wish I had a way to make you feel better!

Hang in there, hopefully they can get this resolved.

He uses the term Bleached, I don't know if its new or just his word? because a lot of people have no idea what i'm talking about. But yes i'm getting a taste of military life and i'm getting nervous! I hope I can handle this for the next few years! I have no choice though, I fell in love with a sailor and need to cope with it! Thank you for your response though! I'm learning i'm not alone and it really helps with people here for me :) Thanks

Yeah, must be something new or individual.  Hubby and I were both sailors, and we called it being beached... like a beached whale, you're stuck, can't go free.

Well, you're getting practice with the patience and flexibility portion of being a Navy spouse.  In the future, you will draw on this for strength, knowing you can handle what is thrown at you.
