Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 103 and 104

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Heads up - I just got a call from my SR in DIV 103! Hope ya'll get to hear from your SRs as well!

Been hoping for my DIV 103 call today, but no such luck.  Thanks for the heads up!

Well, I have been watching this site for any activity from any one but it has been so silent.  I know we are on pins and needles until those calls come in!  I got a letter and thought I would share, I know if you are like me, any news of anything they are doing, etc is good to hear even if it is from another SR.  It is short and I cant wait to hug on him in person but it is at least something.

Hey Guys!
Im getting so excited! Only a few days until Battlestations!  Tomorrow is our test #3, so pray for that.  Well, I guess you can't actually. LOL! I miss you guys so much.  Bootcamp is really easy right now.  Our Schedule is really packed with activities, like the gas chamber, fire fighting, battlestations.  The Gas chamber, was not that bad.  It felt like my whole face, eyes, throat and nose were covered with wasabi spray, and my nose was leaking super runny snot.  it was nasty. BUT cool at the sametime! my last PFA is also tomorrow.
Sorry this is so short, but I should be able to call you soon!  I need to study for the test tomorrow
Love, Jordan

I love that assessment of the gas chamber, "It was nasty. BUT cool at the same time!" He must be one of those people who have the gift of seeing everything in the positive light! I think I would be a whiner about leaking super runny snot. LOL I know that gift will serve him well in life! Thanks for sharing; my letter hasn't come yet. Still hoping for it tomorrow. I LOVE reading any and all news from these amazing young people. In fact, I'm going to miss that part when they're done with boot camp.  :)

My husband is a US Navy Sailor!!!! He said one SR's knees locked up last night during BST21, and has to redo it again .... But Everyone else has passed!!!!
Congratulations to your husband/sailor!! I'm praying that I get a call soon from my son!!

Congratulations! You both have sacrificed so much for this day! Praying that this great victory will carry you through the days of separation ahead, and that you are both blessed all along your Navy journey!

Just got a call from my sailor! How nice that sounds! He said he got his orders & will be heading to Pensacola early Saturday morning. I guess this Momma will have a long day Friday with PIR & then heading to Ohare late Friday night. I'm so excited to see my son though!!!
I also received my graduation ribbons from Lala Ribbon Queen & they're beautiful!

Mine is also leaving early Saturday morning for Pensacola Laurablue! However, his plane tickets weren't in his packet, so they took his orders back. Not sure what that's all about. He says he should get them back tomorrow. I may look sleepy in the wee hours of the morning at the airport, but I will be so happy to share those few hours with him, I won't care a bit! :) See ya' there!!

That's great that you just got a call! I'm jealous lol. Did your sailor (so nice to type sailor instead of SR!) say what time their flight is? My sailor is in Div 103 and heading to Pensacola as well. Either way, I'll be at OHare as well! (:

Erica7513, He said 1:00am I think. Starbucks will be on the menu for Friday for me :)

Mine is headed to Pensacola too on an early flight -- he didn't have all the details with him. Anyone know where we go to meet them? I thought they had liberty until 10 PM Friday -- but if they have flights at zero dark thirty -- that's going to be interesting! Hmmm... Hoping we all get another call before we get there to figure everything out. Dying to know!
