Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 159 and 160

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi everyone,

My son is the sailor that is with your loved ones at BC. I received his box one week, then received a phone call from him the next week. This week I received my first hand written letter. I know that you all feel the same as I, I miss my son, but I'm very proud of him. I will be at PIR with my other son and some family. This site has been a blessing for me and I'm very grateful for the wonderful, caring people who continue to keep us updated. A big "Thank you" and "God Bless You" to them.

Trish (Keith's Mom)

I am still waiting on a hand written letter. Hopefully today!!! :)

Hi - my son is in the same s/d - can you please tell me where you found info on Sarge's meet & greet ?

Hopefully we get a hand written letter today I didn't get anything yesterday

Hello, all. My son is in Div 159. We meaning I was very worried/concerned about him as this truly is the first time away from home. I received a call from him last Saturday where we both barely held it together. Then I received his handwritten letter and my worries have really been put at ease. Yes he says it's a change but he is doing OK, and has made friends, they really support each other. My husband and I are planing to be there for PIR, and I will have tissues. I am so proud of all the young people who are there going through BC. They all have a tough job to do but with our support they will make it. "God Bless"

I am so glad your son is doing well Donna. I know they all are well takin care of. I am still waiting on my handwritten letter. When my son called Saturday, it was good to hear his voice. It would be nice if they get to call every Saturday, but I know that is a stretch. Have a great day.
