Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 199 and 200

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

We are going to try to make it.  I booked a flight that should get us there with plenty of time. I did rsvp yes.  We will be picking up my daughter and son's girlfriend who are flying from Seattle. All very exciting for sure!

Sarges meet and greet by PIR date can be found under groups I think.
I just found it under events.
Hi jorgesmom and Lydia! I plan to be at the meet and greet. Last I looked ours wasn't listed yet. Guess I'll check again.
Hi jacob94mom. Sarges meet and greet for 6/12 is found under events. Hope that helps.

The division discussions work differently from the main comment wall. The group discussions work first post to last, and if you reply to a post it posts directly below the post you are replying to. To have things go in order (still in reverse of the main comment page), use the main comment window in the group for all your posts (do nor hit the reply button under a post) and they will post by date and time. Just click on the last page.

You can get to the most recent reply in the discussion groups by clicking the "last reply" link on the main comment wall.

Found the Meet and Great(thanks jorgesmom) RSVP'd!
I was just reading through Sarges Meet and Greet info- says we can reserve sections if we want to sit together. Someone would need to make signs and be there by 4:45 to "stake our claim" any one interested???

There is also a dance contest to "In The Navy" with three reps from each division. Lol how fun! Again, any takers! I know it's a long way away still but I'm a planner and am always thinking ahead. :)

I can be there with a sign, I think around 4:45 for DIV's 199 & 200. Saying "I think" because it's so far away. I will try my best.

Im on the FB page and have also been too slow with answers. Lol Maybe one of us will get lucky :)

Anyone get a letter yet? I haven't.

I agree! I have checked every day...I know what time my mailman comes lol! I'm in Texas.
