Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 931

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

In my son's letter he said 931 has 100 SR's instead of the normal 80 or so. He will be carrying the flag for the state of Mississippi :)

my daughter will also be carrying a flag although she didn't say which one

my daughter is in 931 feel free to email me anytime

I got a phone call yesterday. It was so good to hear my daughters voice. She is going to be carrying the North Carolina Flag. She said she is making friends which made me feel so much better knowing she is not going through this alone. Can't wait for the next phone call.

I got a call yesterday, but if your SR had watch at the time the phone calls were made then he wouldn't have been able to call. No news is good news, if something was wrong you would know! Hugs!!! Hang in there. I know 2 Moms on the FB page for 6/13 PIR also didn't get calls, most likely for the same reason.

@USNwife/momMary.....love your knowledge.  That makes perfect sense!!

I heard you were in the chat today, sorry I missed you I was traveling back from Pensacola.  I have a lot left to learn, but the wonderful ladies here are helping me a long and I try and pay it forward when I can.

Found a lot of help for figuring out flights and such....:-) can't believe its only 37 days away!!

My daughter called and was promoted to AROC for Graduation at this time!! Also Petty Officer for weapons. I hope I understood correctly. Had to do some googling! Just thought I'd share someplace that would understand the Lingo...:-) @Lisa...saying a little prayer for you to get your call!!
3 letters today :) the first was after he got his wisdom teeth out, he said he was drugged up. Crazy kid. He did say he felt like he had known his shipmates his whole life. Now, if he would just tell me who those friends are, that would help.

Hi everyone! We're currently stationed overseas and can't get back, so our youngest son is flying in to support his older brother for the PIR. We've received 4 letters, including the form letter, so military post is being kind for sure! Please keep posting the information that you find/have/figure out. It's so hard to be over 6,000 miles away-these groups help a lot!

JUST got a phone call in the middle of the night (we're 7 hours ahead) and our son sounds GREAT! Happy Early Mother's Day for SURE!
