Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 931

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Yay! I'm so happy for you :)

Thank you USNwife/momMary! I'm not sure what is going on exactly with the phone calls, our son said that he could have called a week ago, but something happened with the phone card and he gave his time to another SR ? the connection was t.e.r.r.i.b.l.e. so I may have lost a little in translation, but he sounded FANTASTIC!

The fact that he sounded fantastic is all that really matters! Just hearing them say it and hearing that it's true in their voice, means the world!

I totally agree-you can't fake the voice, can you! He shared their some of their schedule and routine, kind of like a "this is my day" and was laughing and joking with his younger sister and brother as if he was at home...best mother's day hands down!!

Happy Mothers Day everyone!!!

Our sweet babies earned a flag for getting 80% average on test one!! Yay div 931!

Got 3 letters today, my SR had watch while everyone got to make calls.  Others offered to call us for her but she decided to decline.  She admitted she cried at chow and felt bad for doing that.  Still needs my encouragement, is appreciating her old life more everyday.  I know she would regret not going through this but still is harder than she thought.  I wish I could be there to comfort her and tell her its alright and freedom is around the corner.  Hopefully a call this weekend will cheer her up!

My son is Ships staff and I didn't get a call either, because he was checking id's. I think a lot of things are easier in theory than they are when we go through them. Your daughter is really learning about herself though and that's an amazing gift!! Keep encouraging her.
How's everyone holding up?

Eh... well, wished I had a phone call in the last three weeks, but other than that, I have bought a graduation dress, an anchor necklace for my youngest and I and an outfit for her.  Makes things seem like the time is getting close to seeing her.  what are you going to wear?  I really don't like dresses so just curious to what to wear.   How about you?

Same here, my son had duty when they made their last call so he didn't get to make one. I just keep saying no news is good news. I'm wearing a navy blue dress with a cardigan in case it's still somewhat cool there. From what I've heard the weather there is unpredictable. There will basically be people dressed in a little bit of everything, but I'm going for the dressy causal look. Lol I know that makes no sense. If you aren't big on dresses you shouldn't wear one. Be yourself and wear what makes you feel comfortable. Maybe dress pants and a nice top or summer sweater?

Did 931 do BattleStations last night (Mon night)?
