Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 199 and 200

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

We're getting close! Do we need a head count for reserving tables at the Meet and Greet? And I think someone volunteered to make table signs and get there early. Is that still a go? I probably can if not- (only three hour drive for me)

We will be attending Sarges meet and greet.  There will be 4 of us and would love to share a table with our group.  I still hesitate to commit to getting there first as we are flying from AZ and WA meeting at the airport then driving.  Hoping to make it in time.....that's our goal!

I'll plan on reserving tables- I should be able to get there in plenty of time - planning to leave home at noon-plus they are an hour behind us. I' ll make some table signs too- they won't be nearly as fancy as some I have seen on the FB page though. - lol
Two more weeks!!!!
Nail biting week! Thanks Beertjes mom for the info! I couldn't find the page with the day to day. :) Will definatly be main "hawking" on Wednesday!!! This is it ladies!!!
I think I can do about 6-8 centerpiece/ signs. But I have seen/heard the tables at round 4 person tables, beertjes
Sure you can squeeze in one more. - if that's the case I'll just get us as close as possible (maybe I should actually put our names- Berrtjesmom- jorgesmom, jacobsmom) so we know we will be together. I'm just concerned those who haven't told me, will take our tables- does that sound mean? - lol (I do have a couple of FB too who have told me they'd like to sit together) and I can't tell who is on both sites. Ahhh (my brain thinks to much) advice please!!
I think Tressa is coming too. I'm thinking I have 6 or 8 centerpieces- I'll let you know downside once they are done.
Good morning ladies!!
I hope it's enough centerpieces. lol I could make a few more but they will be different. I guess that doesn't matter that much?

So what's their challenge today? I'm too lazy to look it up myself! Lol
Thanks Beertjes! You are awesome!
No worries on the centerpieces- we have a Tahoe and four going- we will have plenty of room. :) I have a bunch I've used for weddings, showers and graduation parties already I just have to change the colors and add the signs :)

My sailor called yesterday (ship 03 Div 200).  Great conversation. Very upbeat and positive and sounds like his division is doing very well - they were awarded a phone call due to great test scores and were allowed to buy a drink and candy bar (Mountain Dew and Twix were his choices).  He said that today (Monday) was their final PFA and Tuesday is to be their final written test.  Just as BeertjesMama states.  He said they already did the gas chamber test - but maybe there's another one this week....... He wasn't sure of their Battlestations 21 test day.  He explained that because he is staying in GL for A school and now knows he will be an FC (went in with AECF and then at BC to be qualified for either ET or FC - boy just realized how much I've learned here and I sound like an expert almost - ha!), immediately after PIR he has to pack up and catch a bus at noon to literally take him across the street to check in at A school.  He was unsure of how long that would take.  He's looking forward to going out for Chinese food :).......  I'm so looking forward to meeting all of you in person NEXT week! Wow, doesn't that sound fantastic!

Thanks jorgesmom! Glad you got a call. Good informations. Every time we think we have their schedule figured out something changes. One thing we can count on is this is the last real week! Next week should be easier for them as the practice for PIR. I just can't wait for that I'm a sailor Momma! Call.. Then I will be able to breath again. Lol
Can't wait to meet you too! I thought you were DIV 199 though? Now I'm wondering if our SR's are buddy's?? Oh well, mine is also AECF but ET.
Beertjesmom- AECF is the rate (job) they will be going to school for - mine will do ET (electronics) and jorgesmom's SR wis going FC - fire control. :)
8 more days- 22 hours!
