FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

good luck to your son!!  I have heard they are kept busy. my son has been out for a little while now. I have gotten one email, but his wife has gotten several. she keeps me up to date.

My son, Will is an FT3 on the USS Columbia, stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii- anyone connected with that sub or with someone stationed there? :)

My son is also on the Columbia - he is an ET. His wife is also in Pearl Harbor.
My son is stationed in Pearl Harbor. He is on the Greeneville. He has been there for 4 yrs.
May have already posted this but my son is a sonar tech on the Louisville and has been in Hawaii for a year.

Son works at Pearl Harbor, SS Hawaii.  May we all get to visit them! :)`

My son is a Sonar Tech on the USS Ohio in Bangor. He has been there since April 2012 and loves Washington!

My son is also a Sonar Tech. He is on the Michigan out of Bangor. I am flying out there with his older Nuke brother and wife in a few weeks. Its amazing out there... ; ))
