Hi, my son is also in SHIP 12 DIV275. I also got two phone calls already

Mine too! Same ship and division!!  My son's name is Matthew we are from MI, you?

Join PIR 09/05/2014 TG 43 to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  Divisions 275 and 276 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.  There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.

My Son Left same day, same division :)

My Girl will be leaving for Chicago on July 23.
Son has been gone since the 7th. Got the box and the standard form letter but I figured out that he hates it there thru that letter... Call it a mom's intuition.. I know that this is the best for him. I just wish I could speak with him, even if it's only a minute. :( have been writing letters every day and sent off 5 of them as soon as I got his address. Just want to make sure he hangs in there!

Hang in there Mama. My son also shipped on the 7th but got there on the 9th.

He is SHIP 12 DIV 275. I did get the phone call ( to clarify some documents) and in the briefest of conversations he was able to tell me that it is tough. Not at all what they had at home, but I asked him: " Do you think you can  make it" he said confidently: " Oh yeah" So even though it is extremely hard on them, they will make it with those letters from us.

Hi all, new here.  My son left the 16th, and arrived to boot camp last night.  I got the "I'm here" call last night and I was able to slip in a quick "I love you".  He also borrowed another recruit's phone to text me when he got to Chicago.  My husband is also out of town this month, so it's been a little bit harder than I expected.  He is my first little birdie (of 5) to fly the nest, but he's strong and has a good head on his shoulders, so I know he will be fine.

Yayyyy!!! Happy mom here :) I got a call from my son and hi is in GOOD SPIRIT!! happy to be there and very excited! I will keep praying for strength and confidence every day for him and his division. He shipped July 9th, so moms be ready for that call.

My son left on 07/10/14 from San Antonio and I'm still waiting for formal letter and 2nd call. Anyone else's kid left same day?

AshleyM09, your husband and my son could very well be in the same Div. I am anxiously awaiting the letter and the box.

My son leaves August 1st! He has had August 5th set as his date since joining DEP in November, but they called him yesterday and changed it. I am now in a panic because we are losing our final weekend with him. The only thing that surpasses the sadness I am  feeling is the amount of pride I have!
