My son left yesterday 7/8/2014. I got the call he arrived so now the countdown begins

He got there on June 30. Must have missed his 'I'm here' call.

My son also arrived on June 30th - where is your son from?  I received my call around 7:30pm central

My son arrived last night so am anxious and excited or him to begin.

My son goes July 15th! This week is going by too fast!

My son also flies to GL on 7/15--Shortest week of our life. We must enjoy every possible moment and be as happy and positive as possible for them!

My son also got to RTC on 7/15/14. Today is the first training day (not p-days) provided the class was full and ready to continue. Good luck to all of the young men and women who will sacrifice for all of us. Thank you to everyone on here for your loved ones service. We are proud to be part of such a great family, our Navy family.

My son left one week ago.  We got his box in the mail yesterday.  Hoping to get his form letter SOON! Can't wait to find out when his PIR is!!!!

It can take a while for some. Since it has been more than 2 full calendar weeks since she arrived, it is fine to get the address from the recruiter and send letters. Double-check the info against that at http://bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp or Ship/Division--How it Works.

Check your My Page.

Yes, you should have received the form letter. Since you didn't, be sure to write to your SR and get the password that you will need to get the gate pass and also ask her the names of the four people she plans to list on the Access List when the time comes.
Check your My Page.

So awesome!  My son flew out this morning to boot camp.  Yesterday was a day filled with emotions.  We left there strong and encouraged.  The words "You will be great" left my mouth and I hugged him.  I am so proud of his choices to get his manhood started.  Just graduated in May; he signed up last August and never swayed in his decision.  I will love and encourage him!  I'm so proud of the life he has chosen to start!

My son was shipped out July 7, 2014.  The box came today while I was away, so Fedex will bring it back tomorrow.   It was pretty quick, I was trying to set up where to drop it off and had trouble finding the signature so I wrote Fedex an email. they did leave the signature paper on the door.
