Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 259 and 260

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I am so glad that he called again and you were able to talk to him. My son called today. Only a 5 minute call since he wanted to call his dad---but I wi take whatI can get :)

We also received a call from our SR 14/259!! They were at the NEX and told that they could make calls. We had him on speaker so that his Dad and I could both hear him. I guess we got about 10 minutes with him before he quickly had to cut us off, saying he had to go! SO GOOD to hear his voice!

I also got a call the 20th. It was so wonderful to hear my son's voice. He sounded good!

I am so happy we received a longer phone call from our son today!!  But...I'm also sad that he's sick right now with a cold and a cough. Other than that he's hanging in there and counting down the weeks.

Hello Ladies,

I have not been on here in a while.  I have gotten three letters from my Sailor, Ship 14, Div. 260.  If you have last names, I will ask my guy if he has connected with any of yours.  He sounds so good in his letters.  He had my ph number wrong, but called his Dad and girlfriend.  They said he just talked about folding laundry. :)  He says he is enjoying the adventure, making friends, actually having fun. I should have known all my worries were for nothing!

Hi! I'm new to the site and have a son in ship 14 DIV 260 PIR 8/22/14. It's great to be on here. I appreciate reading about each and everyone's child and look forward to hearing about their adventures together

Welcome Navykid. It's a tough road but we are all in it together. We worry. We wonder. It is just hard but these boys and girls are special in the respect that not everyone can do what they are.
Lady's We have less then a week to go. Lets keep our fingers crossed that our sons and daughters make it thru Battlestations!! They have worked hard. Bless them all. I just ordered a ribbon from custom ribbons on esty. I will wear it with pride. This lady went above and beyond to make sure me and my daughter and I have the ribbons to wear next Thursday and Friday.hope to see you all at Sarges meet and greet!

I can't believe we are almost there.  Time seems as though it has flown right by.   Initially I was so worried about how he would do and how I would do alone for the first time ever.  His letters have so far proved that he is not only enjoying his experience but also that he is growing and making friends.  I couldn't be happier.  I in turn did not have anything to worry about for myself.... I have also grown and made new friends. I love having my home to myself.... learning more about me :)  I hope I get a chance to meet some of you during the PIR Weekend.  I will fly in Thursday evening but hope to get to Sarges Meet and Greet.  Looking forward to next week... prayers for our recruits for Battle Stations.

Blessings to all,

Tina
