While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 291 and 292
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

My son is 20 and is ship 14 div 292 :) can't wait to see him in September. Counting down the days!!!

I got a call too. It scared me because I thought something was wrong because he usually calls on the weekends. He said he will not be calling again until battlestations. He sounds so good. Really enjoying himself. Boy now it is hard to work, I am on a high!

My son also called around 200 today. I also thought there was something wrong. he is in div. 292. I hope he can call before battle stations? My son had just had some dental work and has a cold (which he never gets). He said he is doing good though.

My son had some fillings done too. He told me last sat that almost all the guys got colds. He said he won't be able to call until Battlestations. Although he told me Sat it would be 3 weeks... So who knows...

Hi all! My son is Kaleb and is know as Doc in Div 291. He says the food is good. He says they are busy and that's good. Keeps him from being home sick. We will be at the graduation on the 19th. I am so excited. I hope I can say HI in person to many other moms.
Going to try and get to the function Thursday night. but I doubt it since we get in a little late.
