i guess we will find out the day of graduation i have no idea which one  he is going to penesecola

Your Sailor will find out his itinerary, including whether he flies out of Midway or O'Hare, a few days before PIR or maybe even the morning of PIR. Only he will know his specific flight itinerary since sometimes even Sailors who are going to the same location may fly out at different times and sometimes from different airports depending on flight availability. See the info in PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend.

Check your My Page.

My son graduates on Aug. 22 any he will do his training at Great Lakes after. Any idea how much liberty time?

He gets a few minutes directly after PIR, then he has to go check into his school.  That will take a few hours, then he has Friday evening until curfew.  He will have all day Saturday and Sunday, with a curfew.

Thank you.

He will have liberty after he checks into "a" school until about 8 or 9 and then he will have to check back in. Then he will have liberty on Saturday and Sunday from about 6 or 7am to about 8 or 9 pm. ;). Hope this helps!

I have a similar question about liberty...  My son will graduate on September 26 and he wants to become a Seal.  He will start pre-buds right after boot camp.  Do you know how much liberty he will be getting?

Thank you so much!!

Anyone staying at Great Lakes has the same thing as posted above.

My son just

graduated this past weekend. He didnt know his liberty schedule until grad day. No clue how it plays for  holiday weekend. If anyone plans on meeting their Sailor at the airport,,, VERY IMPORTANT YOU KNOW WHAT AIRLINE THEY ARE ON. We roamed O'Hare for an hour until a sailor recognized me as mom and knew what airline my baby was on. Also the USO peeps are very helpful. The most amazing site to me was seeing a group of 50 or so sailors walking thru the airport. Breathtaking.

Is he staying in Great Lakes for "a"school? If so he will be on liberty after he check into "a" school. Until about 8-9 pm and he will also have liberty Saturday and Sunday from 6 or 7 am until 8 or 9 pm each day. If he is flying out to "a" school then his liberty will be different depending on when his flight is
Hoe this helps ;)
