Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Event Description

SARGE'S MEET AND GREET

WELCOME NAVY MOMS-DADS-FRIENDS-FAMILY

Please join my wife and I for our FREE MEET AND GREET at the Sundance Saloon every Thursday from 4:45 PM - 9:30 PM. Find us on face book by searching for "PIR 12-12-14" and join our group. 

Last year my wife and I fed 9,654 Navy Loved ones. We appreciate your continued support.

If you need reasonable transportation to and from the airports - please visit my website at Http://www.mynavytaxi.com/ or call me at 847-212-0246. My team and I are prepared for any request for transportation. We are licensed, bonded, and insured.

My wife and I are the ones who purchase/make this food for you ….we do this each week for each PIR group. Sundance Saloon does not charge us to rent the space…that is their gift to the Navy families! I don’t charge you for this food either….it is a free meal; however, if you wish to make a contribution to help defray our costs since this is out of pocket for us, that would be greatly appreciated. There will be a contribution box on the buffet table. This is strictly voluntary on your part! We would love to have you come join us!”

Since this is a private exclusive event, all ages are admitted. Please be responsible and have I.D. ready when ordering from the bar. No one under 21 is allowed to consume any alcoholic beverages. If you want to sit in a group and reserve space, bring your "RESERVED" signs and come early (4:45PM) and stake your claim.

5:00 PM - Time to meet and greet - Dancing - Fun - continuous slide show on what to expect on Friday.

6:35 - Invocation 

6:40 PM - Buffet line is opened. We serve - Pasta, Fried Chicken, Sausage and Peppers, Meatballs, Olive Garden Bread Sticks, salad, fruit trays, salad and my wife's world famous brownies. During dinner there will be a film on Boot Camp, Battle Stations 21, and the continuous slide show on what to expect this weekend. 

7:30 PM - Pledge of Allegiance and Flag Tribute

7:40 PM - Tribute to Veterans and National Anthem

7:45 PM - Over of slides and important information.

8:15 PM - Basket raffles & Dancing until ??

How will I get to the M&G from the Navy Lodge....I don't have a car as I am flying up from Panama! Any thoughts?

If you need reasonable transportation to and from the airports - please visit my website at Http://www.mynavytaxi.com/ or call me at 847-212-0246. We are licensed, bonded, and insured. We also provide local transportation and late night runs to the airport to see your sailor off to A-School.

I know it says "airports" but Sarge has a team of drivers and I am sure that he can get you set up for transportation. OR you could also ask on your Division Discussion as well as the main wall of the Group if any other of the other MEMBERS will be staying there and can offer you a ride. Great way to connect too :-)
