Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hi all, Haven't been on here in months, so much has happened since!

Here looking for a Mom with a Son by the last name starting with a C, maybe in "A school" ~ he and my Sailor are best friends and would love to connect with him mom :)

Please edit your discussion to remove the Sailor's last name. See Community Guidelines and of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile). There is information in of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) on how to connect with a mom of a particular recruit without violating PERSEC.
Where is your Sailor stationed (what vessel, if one)? If he is still in "A" School, what is his rating (job/specialty) going to be? There may be groups I can direct you to and you may be able to connect there, but again you will need to practice PERSEC.

If you haven't already, join NUKE moms and you may also want to check out Nuke School Charleston and Nuke A School FAQ. The Rating Information Card for NF can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/enlisted/rating_info_cards/nukepower.pdf. Your Sailor may have Prototype in Ballston Spa, NY; if so, join Moms/Dads/Families with Nukes in Ballston Spa, NY at that time. Some stay in Charleston.
I agree with Pollux, just ask your Sailor to ask his friend. You are able to email your Sailor, facebook him, or ask him in a call or on Skype now that he is in "A" School.

didn't have any bad intentions about my post....I wanted to let my Sailor know I had my contact with her without involving him but decided to call him and ask him to just give her my info and we have connected!
