Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My son flew out on Jan 7th from Virginia. Got the call that he arrived safely at 12:35 a.m. I have not received the box or letter yet. I work all day and I really hope the FedEx guy will leave the package if it comes today. I left a huge note on both doors with a signature and explanation. I also included my work address on the note to ask him to deliver it here if he can't leave it without me actually signing for it. I live within 4-5 miles of my workplace. I will go crazy if my efforts fail and I do not get the package within the next couple of days.

I know my impatience is making this way harder on me. I've never felt so helpless in my life, not being able to speak to him or write him yet. The arrival of the box was just another uncontrollable episode of crying. I'm looking forward to the form letter so I can send my letters to him. They say no news is good news but this is taking a toll on me to the point my mother wants me to go to the doctor. This is all brand new to me.. I hope you get your box today without any troubles.

My daughter went on Jan 6, I got the form letter and the box yesterday. I was so excited!!

My son left on the 7th and arrived at 12:35 a.m. from North Carolina also. I got the box today, but no letter yet. Hoping for -PIR 2-27-2015. Let me know if any of you ladies, got the letter and so what did is your PIR Date. I'm sorry I am so anxious, and hoping for the 27th.

I am thinking that PIR is going to be on 3/6 as well. I was hoping for 2/27, too. The ones that left on the 6th got boxes and letters on the same day, which seems really soon for the letters. But, because our SRs left on the 7th and we have only gotten boxes and no letters, it just makes me think that we are not going to get that 2/27 PIR we were hoping for :(

I didn't get the letter today. I was sad, maybe tomorrow. Please let me know when you get your letter, since there is a good possibility your SR and mine landed at the airport at the same time.

Will do. Didn't come today. I really wish it would come already. All of the veteran moms had been saying about 10 days after they arrived, but I got my hopes up when so many others were getting theirs sooner. I am happy for all of those who have gotten their letters, but I just really want mine now, haha!
