For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Anyone Stationed in Pensacola, FL?
Hey guys I am very new to the whole Navy thing. My husband and I were recently married in December and he left on January 6th for bootcamp. I moved to Pensacola, FL a few weeks ago since he will be starting A school here once he graduates February 27th. I was just wondering are there any other wives or significant others that are stationed in P-cola as well? It's been hard to make new friends here since I am not living on base right now and I just wanted to see if there are any meet and greets or any sort of events where I can make new friends? I try to get out as much as possible and not stay stuck inside but it's hard to get out and do anything if you don't know anyone. Any suggestions?
